WINDOWS ME DIAL UP STEP BY STEP SETUP

1: From Start Menu click "Start" then select "Settings" then open "Dial-Up Networking".
2: In Dial-Up Networking open "make new connection". Open "make a new connection". Type in WorldLinc.net for the connection name, select your modem, and push next.
3: Next type in the dial-up number that you will be using, then click next, and then finish.
4: Right mouse click on WorldLinc.net icon and click on properties.
5: Make sure the area code and the telephone number is the one you want to use.
6: Select the "Networking" tab: The only boxes need to be selected are "Enable software compression" and "TCP/IP".
7: Then click on the "TCP/IP Settings" button. The only boxes that are selected are: "Server assigned IP address" "Server assigned name server addresses" "User IP header compression" and "Use default gateway on remote network". and click Ok. And you are done.

Make sure the box Use Dialing Rule IS NOT CHECKED.
